Appearance: Amber is a short human with curly amber red hair and yellow eyes. She has a pair of eastern wolf ears and a puffy wolf tail to match. She is quite adorable in her own way, even if her teeth are sharp enough to break a bone though they look way too dull. Her more mature personality in some situations may confuse people for she has a body and face that you’d probably see on a teenager, but shes actually a lot older than a teen (27 years old).
Amber will most often wear jean shorts and a tight red t-shirt. Sometimes, she even wears a lab coat and rimless glasses to look as intelligent as she really is. Her shoes are the sort of thing that would make you think again she’s a teen, wearing black sparkly converses and pink polka-dotted knee high socks.
Personality: Amber is a fierce but quirky person who will only let those like her (human/animal) into her ‘inner circle’. She disdains most hybrids that have more than one animal because she thinks animal instinct is more prominent in them. As part wolf, she will devote her life to her ‘pack’, or friends, even if it could end up killing her. Amber creates many strategies and is very intelligent as she was a scientist before the accident had occurred, but it never stopped her from goofing around. She has a sense of humor and her own style for she likes to stick out from the crowd. In her own way, she’s a smart, caring, but humorous leader even if her head is in the clouds. In the end, if she had to sacrifice her human and scientist life for the others who were infected, she would do it straight away.
Background: Amber had lived a basically normal life up until she was an adult, with the one weird interest in genetics. Actually, interest would be an understatement, more like OBSESSION. One time she had even done a genetic experiment on her dog just for the fun of it! As she got older, more people realized her potential in genetic researching and as soon as she was out of college, everyone was after her. The one who had won her over was Dr. Holland, a scientist who was helping with Virus X, and in her own opinion? He was intelligent and hot~ She lived normally and happily with her genetics career for months until she saw a gray and amber wolf in her own backyard. From that point on, she felt something was out to get her since Virus X was everywhere and it spread through the air. Days later, Amber became sick with X and she was getting worse at a rapid pace. After a week, she was in critical condition, but she was 'lucky' because they had just been finishing up the cure. Even after everyone told her it could be dangerous, she insisted she be the one of the first to try. And so, she got better after a few days time, but something weird was going on in her body. She could smell and hear things from a couple streets over when no one else could hear something from down the street. Everything became weirder until a pair of wolf ears and a tail appeared on her, one morning. The side effect for being treated for the disease was a heavy price to pay to keep your life. When some higher-ups realized everyone who had the medicine was changing, they shipped her and many others who had been treated to a far away island called the 'Facility'. Adapting was the least of her worries, surviving and catching dinner had to be the biggest problems.
